Tuesday: Rest, supposed to be a run day, but we had 6-8 inches of snow on the ground, so I waited a day.
Wednesday: 2 miles, 10:41 pace, splits 10:58, 10:35. I had to run a hillier route than usual because snow was still on the ground on my usual route. I still kept the pace honest which was good. Plus a weight workout early-afternoon before the run.
Thursday: 2 miles plus strides (3 miles total), 10:29 pace for 2 miles, splits 10:34, 10:24. Strides 20 seconds @ 7:02, 5:27 (maybe my GPS skipped? It certainly didn’t feel like I ran this fast), 6:28, 6:15.
Saturday: 2 miles, 10:10 pace, splits 10:26, 9:53. The second mile was more down hill so that’s why the pace was faster.
Sunday: 5 miles, 10:48 pace, splits 10:48, 10:31, 10:39, 10:49, 11:13. Good run. Everything felt good while I was out and running. Did a little running on the beach because some of the paths are still covered with snow.
